The module padrs412.dll is part of the operating system Microsoft Windows. It is a resource file for the IME of the Korean IMEPad.

IME is an acronym that stands for Input Method Editor. This is the term coined by the Microsoft Corporation to refer to a component of the Microsoft Windows Operating System that allows users to input characters that are not usually available on the keyboard. These characters are usually the characters from foreign countries such as Japan, Korea and China. With the use of Input Method Editor, it makes it possible for a western keyboard to input such characters.

The module padrs412.dll is the resource file specifically for the Korean language. It consists of two external functions namely PadHelp_HandleContextPopup and PadHelp_HandleHelp. When the Input Method Editor for Korea is needed, these functions are then started.

For the file padrs412.dll to work properly, it would also need to call on other functions from other modules. It imports functions from two system files, which are the user32.dll module and kernel32.dll module. Basically, the module padrs412.dll is not part of the system DLLs because a computer can function normally without it. But if a computer user depends frequently on the Korean IME, then it is apparent that the padrs412.dll module becomes a very crucial part of the system.
