Windows Process Description:

The file vaiddmgr.dll is part of the HotFix module and is necessary to update the system of the SharePoint Portal Server 2003 developed by Microsoft Corporation. The said module is included in the Service Pack 1 of the said housing program, later released by the same company.

The module vaiddmgr.dll is known to eliminate the problem related to the CacheManager, which causes possible corruption in Category Dictionary of the parent program. The CacheManager utilized by the application caches data on both the server and client side to improve performance. This problem usually occurs if the WSS (Web Storage System) is down.

In this case, the CacheManager will show the data of different clients within the workplace or network. This is considered an anomaly with regards to the actual feature under Category Dictionary of the said application.

The vaiddmgr.dll will contain the functions and procedures to correct this and update the SharePoint Portal Server 2003 system. Normally, the fix will have to be placed under the same location as that of the defective vaiddmgr.dll file, which is in C:/ Program Files/ Common Files/ Microsoft Shared/ Web Folders/.

The vaiddmgr.dll HotFix currently has the version 11.0.6715.0.
