Windows Process Description:

Developers are able to create custom solutions with Microsoft's Visual Basic, by embedding Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) integrated development environment into their applications. This functionality is implemented on the vba332.dll file.

The vba332.dll module contains program codes as well as functions that are used to implement macros by the Microsoft Office automation applications. When implementing Visual Basic, the vba332.dll file deploys program codes to control most aspects of the host, including modigying user control panel features. These include manipulation of toolbars and menus, as well as building of custom user forms and dialog boxes.

Microsoft Visual Basic is a programming language driven by events and built into Microsoft Office. The VBA is one of its implementation used not only for Microsoft Office solutions, but also other Microsoft applications such as Visio and Mappoint. It is also implemented partially in a few other applications such as Wordperfect, AutoCAD and ESRI ArcGIS.

The program codes written in VBA are compiled into the module vba332.dll. These are assembled as proprietary intermediate language called packed code. The Object Model for an application is represented by the VBA. The object model typically uses names invented by the originators of the model.
